Alimentari Flâneur x Grace’s Marketplace
Easter baskets are a long standing tradition in our family. Chef Maria has been doing them for over 40 years now. This weekend, Maria invites her nephew Daniel from Alimentari Flâneur to make a special collaboration basket to celebrate Easter.
Inside the basket:
- La Colomba: A soft, fragrant dove-shaped cake—a symbol of peace and tradition on Italian Easter tables.
- Jacques Torre Bunny & Birdie Chocolates: Whimsical and sculptural, made by a chocolatier who sees joy as a craft.
- Burro di Bufala: Creamy buffalo milk butter, perfect for warm bread or simple pasta—luxurious in its purity.
- Lavender Honey: Sunlit and floral, to drizzle over ricotta or fold into whipped cream.
- Dried Lavender: For your table or bedside, to remind you that beauty can also be still.
- Sorrento Lemons: Thick-rinded and perfumed—meant for zesting, candying, preserving, or simply admiring.
- Pink Muscats: Syrupy and rare, flushed with fragrance—more perfume than fruit.
- Globe Grapes: Big, crisp, and theatrical—grapes that deserve to be eaten by hand in the sun.
- Harry’s Berries: Limited and beloved, like the first warm day after a long winter.
- Pasta Setaro: Bronze-die pasta from Torre Annunziata, because even the simplest meal should be a ceremony.
- Pasticcini di Mandorle: Almond cookies, soft and chewy, made with Sicilian almonds and a pinch of reverence. A southern Italian tradition, preserved by our friends at Bread & Salt in Jersey City.
